OCALA, Fla. – Day one of the Sunshine State Conference Championships ended with the Florida Southern College men's swimming team finishing sixth in the 800 free relay on Wednesday night inside the F.A.S.T. Center.

The Moccasins only had one event to open the championships and had their A team of
Peter Csicsaky, Clyde Crouse, Bennett Baer, and
John Zeiger finish sixth overall with a time of 6:36.00. Florida Southern also had a team of
Thomas Wooldridge, Tristan Clanton, Will Neville, and
Daniel Cushing finish in ninth with a time of 6:42.33.

The Mocs will have day two tomorrow, Feb. 13 with the prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m. inside the F.A.S.T. Center. Events for the day will be the 200 IM, 50 free, 1000 free, and 200 medley relay.
