LAKELAND, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2025 Division II ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams, with Florida Southern College well represented.

The women's team was represented as an ITA All-Academic Team with

Kelly Klaren,
Beatriz Costa,
Emily Jennewein,
Karina Bazilevych,
Elin Axler,
Ronja Scheuermann,
Olivia Bryant, and
Vivien Charvatova named as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The men's team was also awarded the ITA All-Academic Team honor, and

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the program had to meet a team GPA of 3.2 or above and a GPA of 3.5 or above during the academic year to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

The academic success of the women's team shined after Bryant, Scheuermann, Klaren, and Brown were each named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team in May 2025. Bryant went on to be named a CSC and ITA All-America for her success in the classroom as well as All-SSC first team for singles. Scheuermann was also placed on the All-SSC second team for doubles with partner Jennewein.Â

The Moccasins finished in third place at the Sunshine State Conference tournament, finishing the season ranked 13th in the ITA 2025 DII final ranking with a 17-6 record.Â

Bryant ranked as high as eight in the ITA singles, finishing the season ninth in the nation to be declared an All-American with a 17-4 overall record at the No.1 singles position. In doubles action, the No.1 doubles pair of Brown and Klaren finished the season ranked 15th, going 11-11 on the year, ranking as high as 12th.

For the men's team, Fok Kow and Garoz were named CSC Academic All-America, Fok Kow having earned his second academic honor. Fok Kow, with a 17-3 singles record, was named All-SSC First Team and joined Garoz in a Second Team Doubles recognition. Another season highlight is Fok Kow ending the season with 51 career singles wins and 55 doubles wins, both top six in program history. Garoz finished 2025 with 59 career singles wins, third all-time in program history.

FSC had a historic run in this year's SSC championships, advancing to the first conference championship game since 2002 and securing its 22nd and second consecutive NCAA postseason appearance. The Mocs also finished with a winning SSC record, 4-3, for the first time since 2010. Garoz, named the SSC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Year, broke the single-season win record last month, finishing with a 22-3 record in 2025. Recognized by his peers for this season's success,
Rhett Rollyson was named the SSC Coach of the Year, just the second FSC coach and third time in program history to earn the award.Â
