Another School Record Falls on the Track

TAMPA, Fla. – Senior Mason Jones set another school record for the Florida Southern men's track team while the women's track team picked up a pair of top-10 times. Jones, who opened the 2022 season with a school record in the 3,000m, broke his own 5,000m record Friday night at the UT Distance Classic hosted by the University of Tampa. The time was also below the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship provisional standard by over six seconds and the fastest 5,000m time run by an NCAA Division II athlete this season.
