CLARENCE "BLADE" KELLEY

Being inducted into the Florida Southern Sports Hall of Fame as an honorary member is Clarence “Blade” Kelley, a long-time contributor to the Moccasin athletic program. A graduate of Auburn University, Kelley came to Lakeland in 1975 and became active in the Florida Southern Sixth Man Club, the booster organization for the Moccasin men’s basketball program. He was a past president of the Sixth Man Club but contributed to many of the other FSC athletic teams as well. Kelley also served as chairman of the Florida Southern Annual Community Campaign and was an active supporter of all their activities. He passed away in April of 1999.
