LOIS WEBB
Volleyball Coach, 1977-2000

Serving first for 24 years as head coach of the FSC volleyball team, Lois Webb also served the college as its director of athletics from 2001-08. Retiring from coaching in 2001, Webb had compiled a 747-272 record with the Mocs and at that time had the second-most wins of any NCAA Division II coach while her winning percentage of .733 ranked in the top ten. She led the Mocs to 16 NCAA postseason tournaments advancing to the NCAA National Championships in 1989, 1990, and 1991, finishing fourth in 1989 and 1991. She also served as head basketball coach from 1977 to 1982, and began the women’s golf program, serving as head coach for the first two seasons. A member of the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame, Webb is a 2002 recipient of the Founders Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association. A member of the physical education faculty at FSC, Webb had served as NCAA senior women’s administrator at the college since 1981 and was interim A.D. in 2000 before taking the permanent role the following year.
