Bob Adams, owner and president of Highland Homes in Lakeland, has been an extremely generous supporter of Florida Southern, both financially and with his time. He has served on the FSC Board of Trustees since 2006. He also serves on the college’s buildings and grounds committee and intercollegiate athletics committee. He was chair of the athletics committee from 2008-10. He also has served on FSC’s major gifts committee that has helped the college raise more than $60 million. In addition to his association with FSC, Adams has served in a variety of community service positions in Lakeland, including the board of directors of West Central Family YMCA and the Lakeland Kiwanis Club, of which he has been a member for over 30 years.
