LEE JANZEN
Men’s Golf, 1983-86

Perhaps the most successful former Moccasin athlete, Janzen has eclipsed his collegiate career by winning two USGA US Opens in 1993 and 1998. Winning the 1986 NCAA Individual National Championship, Janzen finished as national runner-up in 1985. He led the 1984, 1985 and 1986 teams in stroke average and his 71.81 average in 1986 stood as a school record for ten seasons. Janzen was named a first-team All-American in 1985 and 1986 and a second team selection in 1984. The 1986 graduate is also a member of the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame.
