Simon Harper was the second Moccasin to earn All-America honors after he helped lead the Mocs to a 24-4 record his senior year that concluded with the program’s first-ever NCAA tournament bid. He ranks fourth at FSC with an 18.5 career scoring average and third with a .610 field goal percentage. Harper, a 1972 FSC graduate, was the first Moccasin to score 1,000 points in just two seasons and he also grabbed 585 rebounds. As a senior, he finished second in the nation with a .689 field goal percentage that still stands as an FSC record. The team’s leading scorer and rebounder his junior and senior seasons, he had 23 career 20-point games and scored in double figures in 49 of his 54 career games.
