SANDY HUDSON
Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Softball, 1981-82

Sandy Hudson was a three-sport athlete during her two-year career at FSC in 1981-82, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. In volleyball, she became FSC’s first female All-American in an NCAA sport, earning first-team honors in 1981. She was a two-time all-conference selection and was named MVP of the 1981 SSC Volleyball Tournament. As a senior, she was named the SSC Player of the Year, as well as the Mocs’ team MVP that season. In softball, she was a first-team all-conference selection on FSC’s first SSC championship team in 1982 and hit .420 the following season to help lead the Moccasins to their second SSC title. Her basketball career at FSC was limited due to an injury. A 1983 graduate, Hudson was inducted into the inaugural class of the SSC Hall of Fame in 1992.
