LISA CAVE
Women’s Golf, 1997-2000

Lisa Cave played on the women’s golf team from 1997-2000. She helped lead the Moccasins to the first of three straight NCAA national championships in 2000 by winning her second straight NCAA individual title. She also was a member of the 1998 and 1999 NCAA national runner-up teams. A finalist for the Honda NCAA Woman Athlete of the Year Award, Cave was an All-American and an All-American Golf Scholar in 1999 and 2000, as well as being a member of the Academic All-America team in 1999. Twice named to the All-SSC squad, she also was named to the SSC All-Tournament team as a senior. A 2000 graduate, she was the recipient of the Hal Smeltzly Award as FSC Female Athlete of the Year, as well as the Pat McFadden Award as FSC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior. Cave will be inducted into the SSC Hall of Fame in the summer of 2006.
