SARAH KOHLBRENNER
Softball, 2004-07

Sarah Kohlbrenner helped lead the Mocs to a national runner-up finish in 2004, a third-place finish in 2006, and a fourth-place finish in 2007. Playing for fellow FSC Hall of Famer Coach Chris Bellotto, Kohlbrenner also led the Mocs to three Sunshine State Conference championships. In her career as a Moccasin, she was a two-time All-American and a four-time All-SSC and All-South Region performer. Kohlbrenner earned South Region Tournament MVP honors in 2006 and was named to the South Region All-Tournament Team in 2007. She was selected to the SSC’s Silver Anniversary Softball Team in 2007 and was named the SSC Player of the Year as a junior in 2006. She was also honored as the SSC Freshman of the Year in 2004. Kohlbrenner led the Mocs with a .425 batting average as a junior and hit .391 as a freshman. She finished her four-year Moccasin career with a .391 batting average as she scored 207 runs, hit 39 doubles, 28 triples, 12 home runs, amassed 410 total bases, had 230 RBIs and stole a total of 94 bases. Kohlbrenner is the school’s all-time record holder for games played (241), runs scored (207), triples (28), total bases (410) and ranks in the school’s Top 5 all-time in at-bats (713 – 2nd), hits (279 – 3rd), doubles (39 – 5th), home runs (12 – T-4th), RBIs (166 – 2nd), walks (103 – 2nd) and stolen bases (94 – 4th). FSC posted a 200-42 record in her four seasons in Lakeland and she started a school record 241 of those 242 games. Kohlbrenner earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida Southern in 2007.
