GREG PRYOR
Baseball, 1968-71

Enjoying success beyond his collegiate playing days, Greg Pryor was the first Moccasin baseball player to make it the major leagues, playing ten seasons with the White Sox and Royals. He was a member of Kansas City’s 1985 World Series Championship team. At FSC from 1968 to 1971, Pryor hit .333 with 118 runs batted in for his career. A two-time All-American in 1969 and 1970, Pryor hit .418 in 1970 with 54 runs batted in. A 1972 FSC graduate, Pryor is a member of the FSC Baseball Hall of Fame. His jersey, number 17, is retired.
