LISA McNELEY
Softball, 1996-97

Lisa McNeley enjoyed two standout seasons with the Moccasins’ softball program after transferring from Lake City Community College. In her junior season in 1996, she hit .324 with three home runs and 26 RBI. As a pitcher, she was 15-3 with a 0.94 ERA and 167 strikeouts in 126.2 innings. She led the Sunshine State Conference in strikeouts and was second in ERA. In her FSC debut, she tossed a two-hit shutout against Division I Stetson. She had two no-hitters and two one-hitters during the season and was a third-team All-America selection. In her senior season, she hit .393 with three home runs and 40 RBI. As a pitcher, she was 29-7 with a 1.00 ERA, 16 complete games, nine shutouts, two no-hitters and 233 strikeouts in 204 innings, as the Moccasins placed fifth at the Division II Championship. She was a second-team All-America selection, the FSC and SSC Female Athlete of the Year, as well as the SSC Player and Pitcher of the Year for softball.
