KELLY CHARRON
Women’s Basketball, 1992-95

Kelly (Charron) Lopez capped a four-year FSC career by earning honorable mention All-America recognition and helping lead the Lady Mocs to the best season in the program’s history in 1994-95. She was second on the team in scoring (15.4) and led the team in assists (5.7) and steals (4.1) that season, which saw the Moccasins post a 28-4 record that included Sunshine State Conference regular season and tournament championships and a fifth-place finish at the Division II Championship. She started every game in her career and led the team in steals all four years. FSC’s career records for assists (604) and steals (412) are still in her name, as is the single-season steals record (130 in 1995). She ranks fifth in career scoring with 1,506 points and is tied for second in games played with 120. As a senior at Astronaut High School in Titusville, she was the Florida Player of the Year in both volleyball and basketball and also was an all-conference tennis player.
