Kim Disbro became the first Florida Southern women’s basketball player to earn All-American honors when she was so honored in 1987 by the WBCA. A three-time All-SSC player, Disbro set FSC single season records as a senior that season with 717 total points and a 24.7 scoring average as well as 251 field goals made and 214 free throws. Named the MVP of the 1987 SSC Tournament, she is the Moccasins’ second all-time leading scorer with 1,884 points and also ranks second with 867 career rebounds (both figures stood as school records for 11 seasons). Disbro holds FSC career records for field goal percentage (.549), free throw percentage (.785), scoring average (18.1), field goals made (723) and free throws made (437). Her .846 free throw percentage and 214 free throws made in 1987 still stand as FSC records as does her single game scoring record of 43 points. Overall, she holds 15 school records.
