Vicki Saltsman Balogh played for four seasons at FSC from 1987-90 for fellow FSC Hall of Famer Lois Webb. In her four years at FSC, Balogh helped lead the Mocs to back-to-back top-five finishes in the NCAA Tournament in 1989 and 1990, fourth in 1989 and fifth in 1990. She was named a Second-Team All-American as a senior in 1990 and was also a First-Team All-South Region and a CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-District selection that season. A two-time Second-Team All-SSC honoree as a junior in 1989 and as a senior in 1990, Balogh is one of 19 Moccasins to record over 1,000 career kills, finishing with 1,077, which is 18th on the school’s all-time chart. In addition, Balogh, who is a 1991 graduate of FSC, ranks in the top 20 on the school’s all-time list in both aces (131) and blocks (286) while her 141 matches played is ninth most in school history.
