WAYNE RAATH
Men’s Golf, 1997-00

Wayne Raath went from walk-on prospect to four-time All-American after coming to Florida Southern from Ferndale, South Africa. He was a member of three NCAA Division II national championship teams with the Moccasins. As a freshman, he won the Sunshine State Conference Tournament and was an honorable mention All-America selection. In each of the next two seasons, he was a second-team All-American and finished in the top ten at the Division II championship, as the Moccasins won the team title both of those years. As a senior, he was a first-team All-American, tied for second in the SSC Tournament, finished third at the NCAA regional and tied for 14th at the Division II championship, helping lead FSC to its third straight national title. He received both his bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree from Florida Southern.
