GARY CROSSAN
Men’s Cross Country, 1998-99

Gary Crossan, a native of Ireland, ranks as one of the Moccasins’ all-time best cross country runners. In his two seasons at FSC (1998 and 1999) he was the Sunshine State Conference champion, SSC men’s runner of the year and team MVP both years. He won five meets in his two seasons and had a total of 13 top ten finishes. He was the Moccasins’ number one runner in every meet but one during his two seasons. Named to the SSC Silver Anniversary Men’s Cross Country Team, Crossan owns FSC’s fourth-best 8K time (24:53.8). Still an active runner, he is a four-time winner of the Irish National Marathon.
